The benefits of using your own boat for your own learning are many, not least familiarity, enabling you to use your vessel to its full potential. We can provide an experienced instructor to guide you through the early stages of familiarisation and ownership. Areas worth considering may include boat handling or passage making, engine checks and safety equipment.

Should you wish to use your own boat for RYA Instruction, or simply require coaching in specific areas such as boat handling, pilotage or sail trimming, please call us to discuss your requirements.

Our instructors have significant experience of a wide range of yachts, motor cruisers and powerboats, and our informal approach will soon build your confidence and maximise your enjoyment. We can design instructional packages to suit your individual needs.

The price of a day is for you and your crew not per person. Tuition on board your own boat can prove a cost effective way of training towards an RYA qualification.
